Bio
I began taking piano lessons at a very young age and quickly fell in love with music. Through my childhood and teenage years, I spent time playing in ensembles, singing in choirs, and worked my way up to grade 8 in piano, trumpet, and theory, before studying a music degree at Canterbury Christ Church University. After graduation, I worked at Wells Cathedral School for a year before pursuing a freelance career teaching piano, theory and trumpet, and also as an accompanist.
Teaching Info
Each student is unique, so my lessons are planned to suit each individual, whatever level and ability they are at. Many of my students have chosen to pursueABRSM examinations and preparation for these will include technical work, practise
and memorisation techniques, and performance skills.
