Bio

I have seventeen years experience as a qualified Classical Guitar teacher. I worked within schools for several years teaching small groups and whole year groups as part of the Wider Opportunities initiative. I now focus on my private students to give them a tailor made programme of study.  I want students to enjoy playing as much as I do and offer lessons to all ages and abilities from Beginner to Grade 8. 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons available on a weekly or fortnightly basis. I teach face to face at my home in Newport. My location is easily accessible and has plenty of parking. I am equally comfortable teaching via Skype or Zoom if preferred.

Teaching Info

My top priority is enjoyment and helping my students gain a sense of musical achievement from lesson one. I always want students to understand new techniques and skills from their own experience. For those wishing to take a formal route, I teach both Classical and Acoustic syllabuses using Trinity and London College exam boards.
