Teaching piano is my passion and I have 14 years’ experience working with children and adults. My aim is to help individuals play with freedom and ease, and support them in developing their own musical expression.
I teach beginner students through to advanced students and also individuals returning to playing piano after a break. I can prepare students for graded practical and theory exams, if they wish to work towards them.

Lessons will differ depending on the age and experience of the student. I always try to make each lesson enjoyable and engaging, so that students can progress quickly.
I primarily teach classical music, but am very happy to work with adults that prefer to play popular music.
For beginner students, we spend time learning to read music; understand rhythm and pulse, and training the ear to listen. Students learn correct and healthy piano posture and how to play the piano in a comfortable way without pain or discomfort.
I always work with students at a pace that is comfortable for them.
