Bio

David has been teaching guitar for over 20 years, he is based in the North east of England and teaches from his home near Newcastle upon Tyne. He teaches either in person or online. He teaches most styles:- rock, hard rock, indie, blues, folk, country and jazz. He is qualified to Grade 8 level in Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Music Theory. He is professionally qualified to Diploma level with the London College of Music (ALCM). Before teaching, David played in many different bands and he has lots of experience working with other musicians. He currently plays live regularly, as part of a 4-piece rock band and also performs as part of an acoustic duo. He tailors his lessons to the individual and can teach a combination of practical and theory.

Teaching Info

David has a personal tuition room with a large range of guitars and amps, with a PC programmed with many apps and programs to make learning easier. Its a great environment, which David is sure you will find comfortable, adding to the enjoyment of your learnng experience.
