Bio

Qualified, experienced, and down-to-earth vocal coach offering laid-back and informative singing lessons from the heart of beautiful Devon. All lessons are 40 minutes long.

Hi, my name is Ezmay, and I am a professional musician and passionate vocal coach. I hold a BA (hons) Music degree and have over 12 years experience teaching singing as well as 15 years of songwriting, performance and recording experience. I also hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music, an enhanced DBS certificate and CPD approved tutor-specific safeguarding training through the NSPCC.

My lessons are completely tailored to the individual singer, but are always laid-back and fun with my priority being the student’s enjoyment and comfort. This means you can reach your singing goals in an environment that feels supportive and consistent.

I offer low-pressure singing grades, songwriting, basic music theory and performance technique alongside standard singing lessons. My studio is open to anyone and everyone, no matter your age or walk of life. I have extensive experience working with SEND students and can adapt my lesson delivery to best suit each student’s individual needs.

Teaching Info

Every singing lesson begins with a relaxed chat to check in on how your voice has been feeling and address any questions or concerns from the week. We’ll then warm up the voice and work through a selection of tailored vocal exercises, helping you develop healthy technique while preparing your voice for the singing ahead.

From there, we’ll work on a variety of wonderful music across different genres, with songs chosen around your voice, interests and individual goals. If you’re looking for a more structured approach, I also offer tuition towards Trinity Rock & Pop graded exams, with the final three grades carrying UCAS points.

Above all, my lessons are laid-back, pressure-free, fun and informative. My aim is for you to leave every session smiling, feeling more confident in your voice and knowing that you’ve made progress.
