Bio
Hi, my name is Harrison, I’m 29 years old and I’m a full time professional musician in the Milton Keynes area. Since graduating from BIMM London in 2015 I have been working as a tutor and performer. I’ve taught hundreds of private lessons as well as teaching at local music schools. As a performer I play guitar in one of the UK’s top event bands, and have performed all over the country for thousands of guests, and have even been hired by royalty!

If you’re looking for music tuition that works for you then look no further. These music lessons are all about what works for you. If you wish to learn your instrument casually by looking at some of your favourite songs then lets do that! However if you want to prepare yourself for an instrument grade then we can work towards that too! All lessons are tailored to you and will include the lesson material typed up with practice notes. I have an up to date DBS check which can be provided on request.
Harrison has been absolutely fantastic. He is very patient with a beginner like me, and also very encouraging. I appreciate that he takes time to understand your specific needs and interests, and then tailors the lesson with a great degree of personalisation. He has a very friendly and welcoming personality that would put any beginner like me at ease. I would recommend him very highly to all - young and old, beginner and advanced. I have found Harrison to be extremely relaxed, and clear in his approach to teaching. I am already feeling loads more confident in my ability, even after my very first lesson with him! I've always struggled with timing but, Harrison showed me a few different techniques and concepts that have changed my guitar playing, to a point where I am inspired all over again and, I can't wait for each lesson now. Harrison is just what I need in a tutor. He is mobile and comes to me to teach which is very helpful when I have a busy working day. Harrison and I share a similar taste in music so choosing songs to play during lessons is easy and even if I choose a song he doesn’t recognise, it only takes him 10 minutes before he has sussed it and able to teach it!

I started with the rock project where Harrison took/taught us over 12 weeks with a gig at the end over that time I got better on the guitar built confidence and enjoy my guitar now more than ever before since then I have continued learning with him with lessons working on acoustic stuff as well as continuing on the electric guitar Harrison has given me the confidence and the push to also give open mic nights a go.
