Ian has been teaching and playing as a professional drummer for over thirty years, his experience covering theatre, touring, studio work and more. He has a passion for helping other drummers, and tuition has been something he has been involved in since he was 18.

Lessons are always fun, and just as importantly, progressive, meaning you progress as a drummer in the best way possible. Each student has the syllabus tailored to their exact needs, with new material being written for them to help them improve fast. Technical ability is another passion of Ian’s especially grip and ergonomics – all of which go to make a drummer who’s timing, touch, and creativity is both unique and solid.
