Bio
I am an international singer whose repertoire spans from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works, with a particular interest in historically informed performance. I have performed as a soloist with ensembles including Merseburger Hofmusik, Sächsische Barockorchester, Boston Camerata, and Opera Vivente. I am also a founding member of Vox Aurea, led by Gerhard Polifka, assistant choir director of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. My musical studies have included Baroque style and ornamentation with specialists such as Aaron Sheehan, Ian Howell, Jory Vinikour, Tim Ribchester, and Drew Minter, and I continue my studies with Bryce McClendon.
Alongside my performance career, I maintain a thriving vocal studio both in person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Towson University (2013), a Master of Music in Early Music and Teaching Artist Certificate from The Longy School of Music (2015), and a Graduate Performance Diploma in Early Music from Longy, with additional study in voice and vocal pedagogy at New England Conservatory (2016).

My teaching is rooted in the principles of the bel canto tradition and informed by an understanding of vocal function, anatomy, and healthy vocal coordination. I help students develop the physical and musical skills needed to sing with confidence, freedom, and flexibility across registers and dynamics, improve intonation, and explore repertoire in a range of styles, including classical, musical theatre, and some pop.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, experience, and developmental level, with clear short- and long-term goals and a practical plan for achieving them. Alongside working with students preparing for auditions and performances, I offer tutoring for ABRSM examinations, as well as vocal support for choral scholars and lay choir singers.
All lessons take place online, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your own home. Sessions are available in 50-minute or 25-minute formats, with the shorter lessons particularly suited to younger singers or students working toward specific, focused goals.
