Doris Kuo graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Master of Music in Violin Performance in 2019 and is currently playing in Southbank Sinfonia. She is experienced in teaching in group settings as well as one to one lessons and coaching ensembles, ranging from beginner to advanced.

My role as a teacher is to assist students to reach their best potential. In my teaching I find it is important to develop musical concepts and skills through an approached that nurtures the students enjoyment in making music. In doing this I believe it can impact in other areas of their life as well as cultivating a long lasting love towards music.
The lessons are there to help guide the students develop good technique, musical expression, listening skills and theory as well as problem solve skills and awareness that they can apply in their own practice.
Whether you are going for grades in ABRSM or Trinity, preparing for school exams or just learning for leisure, I believe learning music is to be fun, inspiring, encouraging and confidence building.
