Bio
With 20-year experience in the vibrant Brazilian music scene, Naná has had the privilege of collaborating with renowned artists such as Johnny Hooker, Jaloo, Bárbara Eugênia, Iara Rennó, Karina Buhr, Tiê, Paulo Miklos, Filipe Catto, Adriano Cintra, Ana Cañas, Banda Uó, As Mercenárias, and Belgian Duo Vive La Fete, among others.
Having traveled extensively throughout Europe, the USA, and South America, Naná’s music journey has taken her to prestigious festivals including Rock’N’Rio (Rio de Janeiro), SXSW (Austin, Texas), and Primavera Sounds (Barcelona, Spain).
For the past 15 years, she has shared her musical knowledge through teaching, both in Brazil and London, utilizing esteemed drumming books and curriculums such as Trinity College and Rockschool. Naná’s focus is on various essential components, including technique, expanding repertoire, enhancing coordination, and embracing music vocabulary.
Located in the Harringay Warehouse District (conveniently near Seven Sisters Station on the Victoria Line or Manor House Station on the Piccadilly Line), her studio provides an optimal learning environment equipped with two sets of excellent drum kits, an assortment of quality cymbals, and a computer monitor for seamless sheet music follow-up and play-along.

Teaching Info
For the past 15 years, I have shared my musical knowledge through teaching, both in Brazil and London, utilizing esteemed drumming books and curriculums such as Trinity College and Rockschool. In my lessons, I focus on various essential components, including technique, expanding repertoire, enhancing coordination, and embracing music vocabulary.
I strongly emphasize the significance of making music lessons fun and satisfying. My approach encourages students to learn and play the music they enjoy. Furthermore, I believe it is essential for them to acquire foundational knowledge in music theory, reading sheet music, and mastering their instrument with proper technique.
Regardless of your proficiency level, whether you are already skilled or a complete beginner, I prioritize developing your technique and musicianship in our lessons. These aspects will be a priority in our instruction.
