Bio

In 2017 I graduated from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a degree in Flute Performance and have since embraced every opportunity to share my passion for music making. My journey has taken me on a vibrant spectrum of musical experiences- from performing with a 70-piece folk/rock band at The Royal Albert Hall to playing at the heart of an orchestra in Birmingham’s iconic Symphony Hall. I’ve also explored the therapeutic power of music through volunteering as the piano accompanist for an award-winning charity choir called The Choir With No Name which supports individuals who have experienced homelessness. I have also worked as a hospital ward musician, using music as a powerful tool for emotional healing.

Teaching Info

Learning to play instruments has allowed me to connect with people in remarkable ways by expressing feelings that words simply cannot capture. I really love helping others on their own musical journey, and it means a lot to me to be a part of that process- watching individuals build confidence and enjoy making music for themselves. My patient, positive and friendly approach creates a supportive environment for students of all ages and abilities to flourish. I also have extensive experience working in both mainstream and SEN education roles, so always strive to make my lessons accessible and inclusive for all.
