Bio
I’m a performing musician, composer, and teacher with extensive experience teaching drum kit and leading music groups. My lessons are pupil-led and emphasise fun as well as technique, musicality, performance skills, and theory. I use the Trinity syllabus along with drum kit vocabulary from renowned drummers and exercises from my own fantastic drum teachers. I also encourage students to suggest songs they love—playing music you’re passionate about is a brilliant way to learn to play the drum kit!

As a qualified school teacher with nearly a decade of classroom experience, I’ve worked with hundreds of young people and am skilled at helping students overcome specific challenges.
