Bio

I’m a performing musician, composer, and teacher with extensive experience teaching guitar, bass, and leading music groups. My lessons are pupil-led, and emphasise fun as well as technique, musicality, performance skills, and theory. I am able to incorporate both ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabi, and I encourage students to introduce songs that they love—playing the music you’re passionate about is a brilliant way to learn to play the guitar!

As a qualified school teacher with nearly a decade of classroom experience, I’ve worked with hundreds of young people and am skilled at helping students overcome specific challenges.
