Hello, I’m Richard, a passionate and dedicated music teacher with extensive knowledge and passing on ability teaching brass and all keyboard instruments. I cater for (Brass) trumpet, cornet, horn, euphonium, tuba. Keyboard instruments, Electronic keyboard, piano and organ. I also teach recorder and basic vocal tuition, as well as music theory.
With a deep love for music and a commitment to nurturing the musical talents of my students, I provide comprehensive instruction tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Whether you’re a beginner starting your musical journey or an advanced player looking to refine your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Teaching Info

Lessons with me are fun and never serious! Piano – I use the Michael Aaron teaching books. Organ I use David Sanger. Brass I use Arban. Vocal and theory are with my own knowledge and other sources. I believe that music education should be an engaging and enjoyable experience. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a positive and supportive environment that fosters creativity, discipline, and a deep appreciation for music. I strive to instil a strong foundation of technique, musicality, and theory while encouraging my students to explore their own unique musical expressions.
