Bio

I provide professional music and drama tuition in Chester and online.

I am an experienced music and drama educator, performer, musical director and former Head of Music & Drama, with over 30 years’ experience working with children, young people and adults.

I offer tuition in piano, ABRSM Music Theory, GCSE and A Level Music, GCSE and A Level Drama, audition coaching and exam accompaniment. I also work as an ABRSM examiner and have extensive experience supporting students through exams, performances, auditions and school assessments.

Lessons are available face-to-face in Chester and online for students across the UK and internationally.

Teaching Info

Lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to the individual student. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing confidence and making steady progress.

Depending on the subject, lessons may include practical performance work, exam preparation, theory, listening and analysis, composition support, written exam technique, audition preparation or guided practice. I place strong emphasis on clear explanation, achievable goals and helping students understand not just what to do, but why.

Students can expect focused, encouraging tuition that balances high standards with patience, flexibility and enjoyment.
