I have been teaching singing since 2009. From musicians in bands, school children to retirees. I have extensive performance experience as a singer / songwriter and as a solo artist and with my band, including BBC Introducing.

Teaching Info

I teach a range of styles but always with a focus on correct breathing and protecting the voice. I believe music is a form of therapy and a wonderful way to express yourself and develop confidence in all aspects of life. I have an extensive experience as a performer so I can help students who want to gig and with performance technique.

My 13 year old daughter has been having singing lessons with Jemma for over a year now and loves them. In that time we've seen her overall confidence and singing ability increase dramtically. Jemma's very professional and approachable. She makes the lessons interesting and fun, with a variety of different music genre covered. I would highly recommend Jemma if you are looking for a singing teacher.
