Bio
Hi! My name is Talitha and I have been singing since I was 6 years old, and my love for singing makes me delighted to teach and help other people. As well as achieving a first Class Honours in my BaHons degree in music performance and the Industry, I have achieved grade 8 in ABRSM singing and theory. As well as this, I have done individual singing lessons for 3 years online. I feel that I have the skills to organise effective lessons and lead people looking to learn! I am also a songwriter and have my own band that supports me in travelling around London to perform! From following and studying Estill voice training for three years, I understand how personal the voice is, and endeavour to create a comfortable and safe space for students to explore it and reach their full potential. Coming freshly out of University, I am extremely motivated to share my knowledge and experience with others. I endeavour to aid the process of development with my versatile skills and accepting approach. I have also written and recorded in Abbey Road Studios plus many other studios across London, and I have an EP released of all my own music. I would be honoured to share this passion with others, and give them the courage to pursue what they love like I have!
Teaching Info
In my lessons I heavily focus on what the student wants to do. We start out by goi g over music they suggest (if this is not the case I am happy to choose for them!) and then we pick apart parts of the voice that can be improved. In music theory, I work through various work books and focus on weaknesses with personal written exercises.
