Bio

I have always played music throughout my life coming from an extremely musical family. I graduated from the University of Huddersfield for a Performance Degree on the Trumpet. I then completed a PGCE in Secondary Music Education and was a Secondary Music Teacher for 4 years.

I have a love for music that I want my students to have, whatever genre of music you love I will try to find music for.

Teaching Info

From being a Secondary music classroom teacher, I have taught a variety of different students who learn in different ways so I can tailor lessons to suit your needs.

There will be new pieces to learn, technique and individualised goals set.

I can teach a variety of different styles from Classical, Jazz and Pop music.

I will set music for you to learn and focus on throughout the time in between lessons.

I have taught small groups, whole classes, brass groups and individual lessons. I can tailor lessons that suit your style of music to help develop your love for music.
