Bio

Hi, I’m Yohan. I have been playing the violin since the age of 3, and I believe it is very important for me to begin to teach to pass on the knowledge from all my teachers over the years.

I have been performing solo works by Ysaye, Paganini, Sibelius, Chausson, Brahms, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Mozart and Bach both in France and England.

Teaching Info

Above all it necessary to teach students how to find their musical expression and to teach them how to teach themselves. Technique that is not up to standard can be brought up to standard through guiding and exercises which I will provide, but it is only through discussion and reflection that musical intention can be conveyed. Students will have repertoire and exercises/etudes/caprices tailored to their exact needs based on their strengths and weaknesses. I will also teach ABRSM or Trinity grades to those who want it.
